Research Interests
The Jones Lab focuses on structural proteomics using biochemical, analytical, and biophysical approaches to study protein interactions important in biological processes. She uses the protein foot printing method fast photochemical oxidation of proteins (FPOP) coupled with mass spectrometry to identify these interactions as well as further expand this method to studying complex biological systems. Professor Jones’ research is truly visionary as she further develops methods to understand complex, detailed biological phenomena in living cells.
